My next deadline is coming up in three days, and I am in need of about $4,500 more dollars! But the lord provides so I am not worried, I just need your help!! I am so so thankful for all of my supporters this far and their willingness to donate!
These last couple of weeks I have just been reminding myself that the lord provides and that it is all in his time, and I’m not going to lie, it has been hard at some points, but that’s all part of this journey is to learn to completely put all of my trust in him! Over the past couple weeks I have spent my time sending out another round of support letters, I made a video, and have just been praying daily about me meeting this next goal!
So I am asking that you really consider donating! Just pray about it, and if you have any questions I would love to answer them! Without amazing people like you guys, and god of course… this trip is not possible for me! No donation is too small, or too big!!!
I wanna tell you another story about Training camp in this blog. I want to tell you about someone that played a big role at training camp. As many of you know I got baptized at training camp, and I was so stoked when they announced that we were gonna have baptisms. Because God had been speaking to me about getting baptized for a couple of weeks prior to camp about getting Baptized, and so it was amazing that I was able to do it with my new family! But the point of me talking about this is that when they announced that we were going to have baptisms, they said that we could choose anyone (mentors, coaches, squad leaders, team mates) to baptize us. I immediately knew who I wanted to baptize me!
Throughout the week at camp we had so many amazing people pouring into us, and I loved being around all of them. They were there whenever we needed them, they poured into us as a squad, as a team, and also individually. It was actually crazy how close we got to our amazing leaders, and it has honestly been hard these couple of weeks being home and not having them around.
But I want to introduce you Reid, Reid was one of the many amazing people that poured into me all week.
Me and Reid and a couple of other guys really connected on the man hike. As we were hiking up Mt. Yonah we had vulnerable talks that we all related to. We talked about how we could be better Christians, how amazing god is, and so much more. Reid is the person who baptized me, because right when I heard that we were doing baptisms I went straight to him and told him I wanted him to baptize me because of the way we connected throughout the week and especially on the Hike! And now July 15, 2017 is a day I will never forget because that is the day I got baptized as an adult!!!
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
