Our culture, our society, our world is laced with sexual sin. Sometimes, it’s very evident–rape, molestation, immorality. Other times it’s hidden and we live lives completely oblivious to it. I hate to break it to you, but it’s in our culture; it’s in our media. It’s in your home; it’s on this Race. It’s in what we choose to accept; it’s in what we deem as “normal.” It’s not something we can escape but it is something we can stand up and say “no!” to. It may be encompassing this world we live in but that doesn’t mean we can’t fight.
Over the past few days, a deep passion–a holy, righteous anger–has been ignited within some of my sisters here for this very issue and I am catching its rippling effects. We’d like to see it ripple through you all. We will not settle for this any longer.
Get up, stand up, and FIGHT!
