I pray this letter finds you all happy, healthy, and enjoying the beautiful summer amidst us!!  I wanted to provide you all with a brief update about myself, my ministry, my fundraising–you know, all the good stuff.  I’ve been doing great myself.  I do miss my team now that we’re done with camp and all, but things have been going well for me.  I just got done with a 2 week Arabic class that I was taking at Lewis, in hopes that some of it may stick with me when we head to Jordan and Egypt.  I enjoyed learning the new language and learning about the culture of the various Arabic nations.  I am currently sitting in an Internet cafe in Lithuania typing this, where I will be until the 8th…well, not in the Internet cafe but you know what I mean 🙂  I spent a about a day and a half in London with my sister before heading over here to Lithuania where I will watch my cousins dance in the big dance festival they have every couple of years.  It’s pretty sweet really.  I’ll post pictures later.

 

As far as my ministry is concerned, I’m getting more and more excited for the World Race with each passing day.  I continue to wear my World Race tshirts that I made every day and I have found myself having numerous conversations about this adventure before me.  I even had to try to explain what I will be doing in Lithuanian!  Now that was a challenge!  With each passing day though, I feel the Lord preparing me more and more for what’s to come…though I have no idea what that may be.  I find myself engaging in some difficult conversations and the Lord strengthening me through even just my every day interactions with others.  I really don’t know what the next year holds in store for me, but I can not be more excited.

 

As far as fundraising goes, I cannot thank you all enough for your support!  I have had people I never imagined provide for me and God is showing His provision through all of you.  It’s really been quite amazing.  Nonetheless, I am still in need of more funds in order to pursue this mission.  There are many ways you can help me out.  One way is simply clicking on the Support Me! tab to the left or by telling your friends about this.  Another way is by considering purchasing one of the great tshirts I am selling.  More information can be found here.  I will be placing the first order when I return from Lithuania so act fast!  The last way you can help is by bringing your spare change to any Bank of America and telling all your friends to do the same.  More information about the coin drive can be found here.
