Hello Family and Friends!

I am so happy to announce that this is Real Life! I will be going on the World Race in 2017! For those of you that don’t know, the World Race is a program by Adventures in Missions, an inter-denominational missions organization that has send over 100,000 missionaries since 1989. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries around the world. On my trip, we will be going visiting: Mozambique, Swaziland, Madagascar, Mongolia, China, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. During this trip, my team and I will live in true, authentic, Christian community and will have to opportunity to be His hands and feet.

Relocating or moving has never been a foreign concept to me (I am 2000 miles from home already), but recently, God has placed it on my heart to go further. Missions have been a love and call of mine since becoming Christian. In the past I had prayed about when and where God would have me go, many of the places I believe he is calling me are on this list!

Going on a mission such as this comes with some obstacles and I am in need of support, that is where you come in! First, I need a prayer support team (calling all prayer warriors out there!). Next is financial support. The total cost of this trip is $17,417 — This covers my basic needs while on the race: food, lodging, travel, training, and other basic necessities. I know, it sounds HUGE, but I firmly believe where God guides, God provides. I will be sending support letters in the near future (actual snail mail) and if you would like to receive one please give me your address, in it will be this and more information about tax deductible donations.

**Financial and Support Information**

  • Financial Support can be given as a one-time gift, or monthly donation:
    • If I had 20 people who donated $50 a month for 12 months I would meet my goal. Any amount helps!
    • Month Donations can start now and go as long as the April 30, 2017 (my final fundraising deadline)
  • There are several ways to support this mission:
    • Click the support me button at the top of this page. From there you will be directed to make a one time or monthly donation with a debit card, credit card or bank account. 
    • DynaPay- automatic recurring donation: sign up at www.adventures.org/dynapay
    • Send a check to Adventures in Missions: P.O. Box 534470, Atlanta, GA 30353-4470. Make sure to put my name in the subject line. If you request a support letter, it will also come with a card that has all the information you need and information for AIM to give you a receipt. 
  • I have a series of deadlines when fundraising for this mission:
      • $5,000 – Due 9/23/2016 (Fundraising Goal 1)
      • $10,000 – Due 12/16/2016 (Fundraising Goal 2)
      • $13,000 – Due 2/28/2017 (Fundraising Goal 3)
      • $17,417 – Due 4/30/2017 (Fundraising Goal 4)
  • Checks/cash/funds can also be given directly to me, but funds given directly to me will come with a tax deductible receipt, as that has to go from you directly to AIM.
  • Equipment. I will soon post a list of some of the equipment I will need to go on this trip, gifting some of this would also be a great blessing and way to support me.
