First!– HUGE PRAISE– Thanks to some really awesome people, and God’s provision I am $1000 closer to my goal! I am so overwhelmed by some people’s generosity throughout this process I am not even sure how to begin to say my “thank yous”
Ok, now, let me clear up so questions!
1. I AM still going on the race. The “change of heart” had to do with staying in Windsor (which was not my plan), not going on the race.
2. What will we be doing? Well, AIM will have us working with pre-existing ministries. So, basically, we show up and serve. This could include: building, tear down, painting, teaching, child care, story telling, sharing bible stories, bringing resources, the list could go on.
3. That is a lot of money, how is it spent? Well friends, let me break it down:
Training Camp: $348 (October 18-29 including a day long vlog training)
Field Support: $697 (supplies, local contacts, etc.)
World Race Development Program: $2,090 (What keeps AIM doing what they do)
Administrative fees: $2,961 (Accounting, IT, Human resources, marketing and development… all the people that set up our stuff for us.)
World Racer: $11,321 (that’s me!)
Total, that gives us the $17,417 I am needing to raise overall. As you can see, 65% of that goes directly to me in the field, and 71% goes directly to my costs in the field/training.
So then, what about me? Here you go:
So, as you can see, $11,321 goes direct to in the field, as we go costs. In numbers, this is what that looks like:
Intercontinental Travel: $5,094
Food: $1,472
Lodging: $2,151
Transportation: $1,245
Long dist. Travel and Misc. supplies: $1,359 (I believe this is where our insurance would be included).
Note** This does not include, gear, vaccinations, medications, souvenirs, etc. (over 300 days, that gives us about $5/ day for food.

Now that you know how the money is spent, you can see it costs us about $50 a day to “Go and spread the good news.” So, I would like to give each of you the opportunity to partner directly with me for a day of your choice on the race!
I will keep them written on a calendar and will be so excited to go knowing that YOU invested in that day’s work. You will also get, if possible an email/letter and a picture or short video of what we did that day! Some dates will also have free t-shirts or bracelets!
If you want to participate, just let me know. It doesn’t have to be all at once; it can be 2 months/weeks/ however of $25 or 5 of $10. We can make it work, just let me know what date, and how you want to do it and I can get any and all information you need!
P.s. I would stay away from the first week of January and the last week of November for now, as I do not have official launch or return dates yet.
