Yesterday I woke up sticky, sweaty, uncomfortable and with a sore throat and I didn’t feel like doing ANYTHING! Neil asked me if I could work in the nursery so that his team could do ATL’s together, I told him I could do it after team devo’s and a quick shower. Lately I’ve just been feeling tired, kind of in a not wanting to get the day started kind of way. Once the day does get started, however, I’m good to go. ANYWAY…on my way up to the nursery I prayed that God would fill me with something to give because I was feeling like I had nothing left. The first child I saw was Angel. I love Angel! Actually…I love all the babies in that nursery. Angel is so lively and happy I wondered how I could possibly entertain her along with 5 other babies until 1pm! The time actually went by really fast and after playing, reading, feeding and laying them down for a nap I can honestly say I walked out of that place completely filled again. Its so weird how that works, but as I poured all that I had out I was completely fulfilled and refreshed walking out of there. I went to give life and the children in that nursery ended up giving it to me! Crazy.
During our play time we had a little photo shoot and Angel was the photographer. I thought you all would enjoy taking a look at life through Angel’s eyes. “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me”. (Matthew 18:3-5)
Totally random pics…but things just seem so much more beautiful through the eyes of a child.
