David and his men went back to Ziglag and found that a raiding party had burned it and taken captive the women and all who were in it, both young and old. None were killed but all were taken captive. After mourning the losses, David asked God if he should pursue the raiding party and He told him to go and overtake the raiding party. So David, along with six hundred of his men, made it to the Besor Ravine where two hundred of the men stayed behind. Eventually David and his men caught up to the raiding party and as they were resting and celebrating the plunder they’d taken from the land of the Philistines and Judah, David and his men attacked them. They defeated the raiding party and recovered everything they’d taken. Nothing was missing and they brought everything back to the Besor Ravine. Some of the men in David’s army didn’t want to share the plunder with the men who were left behind because they did not fight for it. David tells the greedy men, “No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the Lord has given us. He has protected us and handed over to us the forces that came against us. Who will listen to what you say?The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” (1 Samuel 30:23-24)

This is to EVERY supporter out there. From the ones I personally know to the several anonymous givers to every single prayer partner…THANK YOU!!! God has used you all so much! I realize I am not the greatest blogger in the world and I don’t take enough time to share the “spoil” with you all. I won’t ever be able to convey how important you are to me and to God but I do know that the Father is pleased with YOU. You are significant in the eyes of God, you are important to Him, you are worthy of being used by Him. With that said…a picture is worth a thousand words, take a look at some spoil!

God has taught me love in so many different languages, each country in a unique way is loved by the Father. I’m realizing more and more that I am loved by the Father. This race is not over, there are still at least three countries left and I know that the Lord isn’t done with me yet. As of right now I am still a little over $2000 short of reaching my support goal that was due May 1st. Before anything else I need your prayers. The bible says that the prayer of a righteous man avails much and that ANYTHING we ask for in prayer, believing, we WILL receive. I don’t want to just survive the rest of the race, but I want to be changed. It would be so easy to check out at this point and start making plans for the first restaurant I want to visit when I get back to America. But pray that I would keep my eyes on Jesus and that His love would compel me to keep pressing into His heart for the world and for myself. If you also feel the Lord putting it on your heart to support me as well…you can do so by clicking on the left of the screen on the support me tab. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! I love you and so does our Dad!!!
