Hey everyone and welcome to my blog! Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little about what’s going on in my life! My name is Cy Calhoun and I am currently 20 years old. I graduated high school in 2016 from Granite High School. I am a sophomore in college and am studying nursing.
I figured that an “about me” page was as good a place as any to share a little of my testimony. I grew up in the church and was there pretty much any time the doors were open. I “got saved” when I was 7 years old, but I didn’t truly understand what it meant to be a follower of Christ. As a sixth grader at a Disciple Now weekend retreat with my youth group, I realized the weight of my sin, and that it was my sin that Jesus died for. That night I surrendered my life to Christ, and it has impacted every aspect of who I am. I felt the call to the ministry in high school, and want to spend the rest of my life knowing Christ better, and making his name known to all people, in all nations, across the globe.
