Dear friends and family,
As you know I have been accepted to the World Race!! Which is 11 month mission trip in 11 different countries sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Our team will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the gospel, work in orphanages, help with construction projects, plant churches, sex trafficking, and bring restorative hope of the Father’s love to many nations. As I embark on this journey, I know I will be stretched physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With that being said….. There are several different ways you can support me.
The first and most important way you can support me is with prayer and encouragement! There will be many challenges and obstacles that I will face while preparing and serving on The World Race, and I will definitely need the help and encouragement of my supporters! I’m asking for prayer for myself, my team, and our ministry through out the 11 months. In Matthew 18:20 Jesus says that “For where two or three gather in my name, I am with them”. I truly believe that prayer is the most essential way you can support me!
The second way you can support me is financially. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to raise financial support. This is especially hard for me as I am independent and don’t like asking for help. In order to leave fully funded in August, I need to raise $17,617 dollars. This money will cover all of my field expenses such as traveling, food, lodging, insurance and misc. that I might need for the year. My goal is to raise as much as I can on my own, but through this process God is teaching me that we aren’t meant to do anything by ourselves. The large number that I have to raise seems daunting and I have almost backed out of going a few times because I’m worried about raising the money, but I know that is just what the enemy wants. As I take this large step in trusting the Lord, will you prayerfully consider supporting me financially. There are a couple ways to donate to me.
