I’ve never blogged. I’m not tech savvy. In fact, it may or may not have taken over 30 minutes for me to figure out how to upload a profile picture for this blog. However….I am VERY excited for the opportunity to go on the World Race and am glad that people who want to keep up with my life will be able to do so because of this blog.
A little about me: I am the oldest of 4 and happen to be 25 years old.
My siblings are Shannon (23), Jesse (19), and Grace (18).
My siblings and parents are all very excited for me, though I don’t think any of us know exactly what I’m getting myself into!
I enjoy hanging out with good friends and immensely like the outdoors. Hiking, climbing, backpacking, camping, etc. Also, I have lots of good friends whom I treasure and am very grateful for.
Some potentially interesting facts:
I’ve been a vegetarian for 21 years. Yeah do the math and I started when I was 4.
I’ve been an unintentional vegan for almost 4. (I became lactose intolerant…).
I’ve had 2 near death experiences. One in a river and one off a mountain.
Flannel is my favorite accessory.
I’ve only owned ’95 Camry’s. Yes I’ve had 2. But 1 had a sunroof 🙂
I enjoy the challenge of seeing how thrifty and frugal I can be.
I’ve lived in 4 states: GA, SC, NC, MO.
