Hello my name is Crystal Casiano and I am currently a senior at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and I will be graduating this spring with a Bachelors in English. I am originally from north Philadelphia where I was born and raised ( however I didn’t spend most of my days on the playgrounds :p). As you may notice I am pretty corny. I can also be described as a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, a student worker at my University, and a lover of food, games, and laughing. I can be ridiculously silly, or introverted, and quiet. The list could probably go on and on and many of this things will undoubtedly change over time.

However, when I think of who I truly am at the core the words of Paul in 1 Timothy 1:15 come to mind. Paul says.”Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners–and I am the worst of them all.” I am a sinner and I am the worst of them all. I am in desperate need of Jesus’ mercy and grace. I have fallen short and I’ve messed up in many areas of my life. However, the miraculous news is that I am also forgiven and loved by the King of Kings… Jesus Christ! I John 1:9 promises us that “if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” I would consider my most important identity to be the one I find in Christ as his beloved and forgiven child.

I learned about Christ and His love for us less than two years ago through the on campus ministry at my University. The fellowship at my school and the teachings we have received from the leaders on campus have literally changed my life. I use to feel alone and that there wasn’t much of a point to what I was pursuing. I now understand that my life felt incomplete because it was incomplete…I was missing out on a relationship with the Lord. I want others to know that we can live a life full of joy with the Lord and feel satisfied and loved… because we really are loved by Christ, more than we can ever imagine. I am a sinner who God has promised to transform (“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” Philippians 1:6). I am a sinner who wants to share the good news of the Lord with others.

The world race is an opportunity for me to share the good news that we have a living hope in Jesus while also growing my relationship with Him. I’ve never done anything like this and I am really stepping out and trusting Him in obedience to follow the calling He has placed in my heart. Would you pray for me? Pray that I would remember the invaluable worth of Jesus Christ and that I would be encouraged on this journey that begins now with support raising.

If you feel led to support me in prayer or financially please contact me! I would be happy to talk with you and share more. Also you can find the donate tab on the left.

Thanks for reading it means soo much!! 🙂
