“There is a curve in the wire but it shouldn’t affect your walk.”
Envision being blindfolded and walking a wire 500ft in the air, without a net below you, without a safety harness, and hearing that? Oh, no biggie…right? I forget to mention the rope was inclined, too. That is the real life version of walking by faith and not by sight.
Can you imagine the amount of faith he had to have to walk that wire blindfolded? Mind blowing. That is courage, which is boldness, which is truly stepping out in faith…that is everything God has called us to be. Maybe not walking the tight rope blind folded, but he has called us to step out in faith. You can’t live a bold life and stay in your comfort zone. You can’t grow and stay in your comfort zone.
With each step you take in boldness you grow. Your comfort zone becomes smaller, and your reliance on God becomes bigger. Everyday life will put “curves” in your path, but it shouldn’t affect your walk no matter how difficult it seems. Those curves should direct you to rely on Him and your faith…
