I have eight days left before this new chapter in my life begins. The chapter where I leave behind my family, my friends, and my comforts. The chapter where there is absolute uncertainty as to what is to come.
Life is crazy right now. All I can think about is packing. Every time I pack, I end up unpacking. It is too much stuff that I know I don’t need.
On the flip side of all the craziness though my fundraising account is about to be over $9,000.00. That one is still mind blowing to me. The month of December I started off with about $5,000.00 in my fundraising account. That is getting $4,000.00 worth of donations in one month. I am still scratching my head at that. All I can say is God is good. However, I still have another $7,000.00 to go. My next deadline is in March where I need to have $11,000.00 in my account. (side note: if you would like to donate to click the support me tab:))
Eight days from today I get to reunite with my new family and I seriously can’t wait to hug them all. I can’t wait for my family to meet them. I can’t wait to see how God is going to use us all.
As for now, it is crunch time. It is time to say the “see you later” lines, and to get the last big bear hugs for a year from my friends and family. It is time to finish marking off the items on my “to do” list. It is time to prepare to close this chapter in my life and look expectantly forward to the new one…
