A Cambodian, an American, and an Irish man all walk into an irrigation ditch, what happens next? Well, twenty three people get baptized of course.

We loaded on to the back of the truck with all the kids Monday afternoon to go to the rice fields where our contact use to fish. There were over thirty of us squeezed into the back of the truck cruising down the dirt road. A pastor from Ireland flew in Saturday to minister at the orphanage for a few days and invited us to go with them for the baptisms.

We have fallen quite hard for the kids over the past couple of weeks so of course we wanted to watch them accept Christ. One by one, twenty two of them climbed into the water to be baptized. Their faces were filled with so much joy it made my heart happy to see.

Twenty two of the kids accepted Christ, the twenty third person was a stranger passing by on the road. He stopped to see what the action was all about, and by the end of it he wanted to accept Christ too.

Saturday is our last day here at the orphanage (yes, I tear up thinking about it). We are heading to Vietnam next where we will be teaching English to college students.
