I am laidback, an old soul, a free spirit, independent, positive and driven. I am not every other girl out there, and I never want to be. I don’t care about fitting in with the crowd and I don’t care about impressing people. I am who I am. I am the person I want to be, and the person whom I was born to be. I am the person who God made me to be. I overuse the words awesome and amazing, and smiley faces:) I can always give people a reason to smile.
I love the calmness of the early mornings, the sunrise, and watching the world wake up. I call it my God time. I love waking up at the crack of dawn and driving just to find the perfect spot to watch the sun come up. I crave nature because that it where I find rest. I crave adventures. I crave travel. I crave God.
I believe in living outside my comfort zone. I believe in taking a chance and sometimes taking a second chance. I believe that mistakes are simply learning lessons. I believe in unconditional love. I believe life is what you make it, and I believe every day brings unforeseen beauty with it. Whether that beauty lies in a stranger’s smile, a child’s touch, or a landscape…there is always beauty to be found. I believe in having faith bigger than my fears.
I want to laugh every day of my life and smile just so others will smile back. Every day I am given a reason to smile and to be thankful I have lived to see another day, and I want to share that with others. I live a life that has been blessed beyond measure. My life truly is a story of counting my blessings rather than my worries.
My favorite sound is my nephew and nieces laugh…followed by the sound of an old hot rod. I love to hear the sound of silence, because so much can be said and heard without words. My favorite smell is race fuel, and also tea olives because that is what heaven should smell like. I love to feel the sun on my skin and somebody else’s hand in mine. I love to watch the sunrise, the sunset, the wind blow, the stars shine, and the clouds change. I love my God. I love myself. I love my family, and I love my friends. I love not knowing what the future holds, and I love that we learn from our past. I have a thirst for knowledge and adventure. I have a thirst to absorb all that life has to offer…
