This weekend has been one of many blessings! Funds started to come in beyond what had been the normal. God poured into me in so many ways this weekend. I got to see as God provided someone to step up into a ministry that had been my main focus this last four years because it was a need for the ministries I have been involved in. God also made it possible for me to open a door to that person to launch them into a passion of theirs, by me giving them an opportunity to buy some of my photography props for cheap and saving them time of searching for these props and the outrageous prices of some of the items, while I may be charging 40-50% less then what I originally paid It will also bring in funds for me to go to the nations. To see that the ministries that I am involved it will be covered by two photographers I couldn’t be happier. My heart is always to step in with what I have to fill the need. Yes Photography has always been one of my passions it was never my only or first one.
God answered two of my prayers that I have been praying since God called me on this. One was that people would step up to do photography for the ministries I am involved with now and will be leaving and the other was whether I was supposed to get rid of my photography business name and the Lord told me in a dream to keep the name of His Grace Photography but now the heart would be where photography meets Missions.
God is opening doors and I am in awe of what He is doing. I am letting God take the Lead in all the fundraising and I am not going to let those who decide not to support to take the joy and blessing from those who God is putting in place to support me. I am also not going to let it hurt my feelings because that takes my focus off of God and gives Satan a foot hold to try to put doubt and unbelief in my heart and even worse bad thoughts towards people I love and that is not allowed. No more negative thoughts or words about fundraising! This has been hard but I have also seen God surprise me by complete strangers, whether they gave gifts for me to sell, donations or offered to pray for me. Complete strangers have become friends and family to me and relationships have formed that I am over joyed about.
I had to great donations today and one you may think is not that great but because of who it came from it filled my heart with Joy.
The one was this young boy who bought a couple pieces of candy here and there but he asked me do you like selling stuff, I told him not really because I don’t like asking for money. He then reached in his pocket pulled out some change and just donated it. It wasn’t the amount but the fact that a young boy had a heart to give.
The other was someone I treasure she bought three of the soaks but as she handed me the money she had the bill all balled up where you couldn’t see the amount and said keep the change. well the soaks where only $3 and she handed me a $100 bill needless to say I am in awe of what God is doing. She also prayed for me.
God is so amazing, I love Him with all my heart and I know that I am so glad that He is leading, guiding me and I couldn’t ask for a better Daddy, Best Friend, Lover in the whole world. I stand in Awe of Him! Thankful that we celebrate that He is Alive today!
