Day 4:what trials have you already faced in support raising? how have they been benificial for your long journey?
Answer: Some of the trials I have faced is in trusting God fully and trusting others. I have had several people say they are going to donate and they never do, after the 3rd or 4th time asking them if they are still going to donate I gave up and lost faith in that person. In the back of my head I know that God is going to send me out and that He will fund this trip but when I look at my lack of finances and the amount of funds still needed I freak out because I know I can’t do this on my own, and I have no idea where God is going to bring the funds for this trip from but I am learning to trust Him and His Promises to me.
This has been benificial for my journey because I have learned that there are people who I never would have thought would support me supporting me. It is also helping me to Trust in the Lord always especially when it looks like there is no way in the world for me to do it on my own or in my own strength. It is helping me to lean on others when I normally would have just paid my way on my own out of the money I worked for, learning to trust others and God. Opening up my heart to not only receive love but so that It can be filled to overflowing so it may be poured out on all that come in my path.
Scripture of the day:James 1:2-4″ My brothren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations: knowing this. that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
Today since it is the 11th of June I am asking will you donate $11 today? What is $11 worth to you a movie ticket? A meal at a fast food resturant? Or Souls in 11 different countries? Ask God for the amount you are to give any amount no matter how big or how small will make a difference to me and to the nations. All donations are tax deductible through this site. Thank you again to those who have already given and who are going to give today.
