As I began this week I will admit I was a little discouraged. I only made $42 dollars at my first yard sale. Yes I know that is more then what I had but I was going to use the money to buy the first set of shirts so I can start selling them which was $100, so I ended up taking the money I was going to use to pay my cell phone bill since I have virgin mobile and don’t have to worry about late fees just wont have a phone for that period of time.

As I entered the church on Sunday I payed for the shirts, and decided to go take my bible and lay down before the Lord during worship. I started off Praying and asking God was I doing the right thing am I really supposed to go on this missions trip. I feel like I am going backwards and not forwards. I am selling my stuff as I heard you say to do but very little sold.

Then I heard the Lord say turn your bible to Matthew 6 and 7.

Matthew 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy,and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

These verse stuck out to me the most during that time and encouraged me that God was going to provide and that I need not worry about it. For me Treasures in Heaven are every soul that comes to Christ, that gives me the most delight the most pleasure not my things that I have collected over the years, Things don’t go to Heaven but People do!!!!!!!!

Then the message was about being in “Covenant with God” Covenant an agreement between two People or Parties, and it talked about the fact that a Covenant is different then a Promise because a Promise is one sided where as A Covenant takes the cooperation of both people or in the case of Covenant with God, it takes God and I. When I came to know Chirst, we made a Covenant that I was going to walk with God and Follow Him where ever He leads me. That He was never going to leave or Forsake me (Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”;

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”) That I would go to the nations and Share His love with the nations.

Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
Inheritance=Treasures
Then During the service he shared a story and I have to share it too.
THE WORLD IS A PUZZLE
A Dad was sitting watching television, when his little boy came running over, “Daddy, can you play with me?”
The Dad enjoys playing with his son, and plans to give him plenty of time, but not just yet,”soon son, soon” says Dad “When this program finishes.”
Five minutes later the the little boy returns. “Daddy can we play yet?”
“Soon, son, soon. When this program finishes.”
Two minutes later the little boy returns again. “Daddy, is it time to play yet?”
Dad realizes he’s not going to get any peace, so he decides to give his son a task that is going to take some time, He notices a picture of the world on the front page of the newspaper sitting in front of him, He tears the picture out then rips it into small pieces. ” Now son, I’ve got a game for you. Take the pieces of this picture of the world and put  them back together again and then we’ll play together.”
The little boy eagerly takes the pieces away with him and sets to work. Dad’s relieved he’ll get to see the last half hour of his program. But to his amazement his little boy is back in less than five minutes, “I’ve finished daddy. Can we play now?”
The father is stunned when he turns around to see his son holding up the picture of the world. each piece sticky taped into the right position. Dad begins wondering whether he has a child prodigy on his hands. ” How did you get it done so quickly he asks.”That would’ve taken me a good 20 minutes and I’m an adult.”
“oh it was easy Daddy. on the back of the world was a picture of Jesus, I just put Jesus together and the world just came together.”
