Well with the World Race the Number 11 has become a big part of all racers lives. It is the number of countries that we will go to, the number of people groups that we will open our hearts to. It is the number of months we will be in the field and the number of months that we will be away from our loved ones. So on World Race Day I decided to count my blessings as I prepare for this amazing Journey that I will be going on in July. So to go with the theme of 11 I am going to name the 11 blessings that happened on 11/11.
1. I got off work at 11:00 am which meant I had the rest of the day to enjoy
2. I found $.11 in the parking lot, lol I know it is not a lot but every little bit counts and it is in my change that I am saving towards the Race.
3.I got to take a little nap before I went out with my dad. when my schedule is always changing a nap helps me.
4.I found out my partnership with Threads of Hope was sent out! they are a ministry that helps woman and families in the Philippines stay out of the sex trafficking. Since I wont be going to Philippines on this route now I am excited that I can still partner with a ministry there. 🙂
5. Got to spend time with my Dad. My dad bought me dinner and it was my favorite food! Chinese food (China is also month 11 of my Journey)
6. I took a picture with a Nutcracker that was taller then me. lol at Sams club.
7.Spent some time with my Aunt Karen and Uncle Wilmer
8. bought a lemonade for the ride home and the change was $.11 lol
9. I have amazing team mates that started to skype and even though I wasn’t able to get on I still was able to talk to them a little that night.
10.I had some amazing people donate to my fund for the world race. I am truly thankful.
11. I serve an amazing God. all day it was filled with 11’s and I am beyond blessed that God is calling me to go on this amazing Adventure with Him. I have come to Love the number 11 and so though it might be the last on this list it is #1 in my heart.
