As im sitting on the porch looking around- all I see is GREEN! Green green green- it is soooo beautiful! But with all this green comes loads of rain.. When I say loads I am seriously curious as to where all this rain comes from. It doesn’t just “rain” for 3 or 4 days straight- it is as if the sky is continuously vomiting water the whole time! (I know- gross analogy but you get there idea now right?!) But with all this rain comes beautiful greenery and gorgeous plants.. It is unreal! The house we are staying at this month is surrounded by what seems to be a rain forest…..

God placed us right in the middle of one of his awesome creations.. THANK YOU! It is funny how in the midst of beauty, as we are wondering what God’s plan is for this place that we can be used for so many things. We have been getting “slack” from other teams (not bad… just jokingly) That we have been blessed with beautiful beaches and “vacation” ministries ect ect and we actually kinda understand where they are coming from. Or any of you subscribers that have been looking at my pictures wondering.. What are they doing? It looks like an extended vacation!? Yes- we have been blessed with gorgeous ministry locations (But c’mon all of God’s creation is gorgeous J in one way or another) But with that comes intense difficult ministry.

This month our ministry has been at a YWAM base where we have mostly been doing manual labor. Clean the entire house 3 times a week.. Work in the yard or other yards a few times (which is tons of weed pulling!)

Working at the local christian college (which is elementary through high school). Also cleaned a church from top to bottom!

On top of that we have been prayer walking the entire community including the house we are staying at. YWAM also does a Australia wide 24 hours of prayer so we have been signed up for a few of those slots so we have had some early mornings praying over different ministries, countries, our squad, ywam, etc. Those have been so amazing and beneficial for me. Nothing like waking up super early and starting your day with intense worship and prayer.. I’m serious you should try it! Its actually much easier to focus and clear your mind because you don’t have other things bogging it up! We have also been involved with a few youth services, and performing at chapel at the local schools… doing skits, songs, playing games, being silly- I love it! Finally!! My personality fits and shines here!  I actually feel like that may be the age group God is calling me to when I get home.. Teens! Weird- I would never have thought that.. But it is so fun to act like a goofball.. And the kids love it!

Along with these ministries we have had some “devine appointment”  ministries. It’s so funny how God uses us in different circumstances and it takes a little while but then when you realize that is why God has you there, it is like an AHA moment! Everyone talked about the spiritual warfare going on in Thailand at the ministry we were at, and I know it is there, but I have never felt such a heaviness and felt like a place needs more prayer than where we are right now. It seems like most places we have been called  to have had some underlying issues going on. It is so  crazy how even in christian organizations or churches how much battling and living for the law still goes on.  It really makes me sad for the “church-us” because it is so unnecessary for there to be battles between each other as brothers and sisters. Also churches should be working with each other for a common goal of bringing God glory and reaching out and serving the community. Churches are meant to be a safe place.. And place that unbelievers can go and feel peace and welcome. Not a place of  judgment, selfishness, or fighting. We have been so unbelievably blessed by the people working at the different churches here. Especially this one family.. The father was the pastor of the baptist church.. Oh man I love them! They cooked us some AMAZING meals.. A dinner consisting of tacos, pasta, pizza, and icecream- CMON!, and a brunch of pancakes and tons of fruit and bacon. Then they took us out to lunch after church and listened to God’s calling and gave us each a gift. I was completely blown away by the hospitality of this family.. Completely..

We also met some amazing members of the other church.. The pastor was such a ball of energy and had so much passion! I could have sat and listened to him for hours.. Seriously! And one Sunday morning at church he called us up and prayed for us.. And the words and visions he prayed over us were so amazing.. Couldn’t have been anything but the words of God! Always blows me away when that happens.. I don’t think I will ever get used to it.. I hope I don’t anyways because it is always so exciting!

Reminds me of Psalm 23:5 “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.” Ha, so funny as I was writing that verse I suddenly remember that Genae had her head anointed with oil by the last pastor.. Was such an awesome time of prayer! But I really wanted to concentrate on the cup overflowing with blessings because that is how I feel about this month. We have been continuously blessed over and over again. I pray that as we leave this place this week (can’t believe how fast time flies by) that this whole area is covered with a blanket of peace and that God’s hand will lift the darkness and fill this town with light. For where there is light there can be no darkness. I declare unity over all the churches and the children of God here. There is power in unity and satan will do all he can do divide Gods people.  NO MORE SATAN! You will no longer be allowed here.. We will call you out and rebuke you before you can think twice about entering God's territory.
