This year has been a year discovering who I am… Discovering the plan that God has layed out for my life. For discovering the truths that He speaks over me about who He has created me to be. And I have learned alot!
I wanted to speak some of these same truths over you.. my friends, family, and supporters!
*~* Ephesians 1:11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for He chose us in advance, and He makes everything work out according to His plan. *~*
You are chosen- we all are! We are chosen for His greatness and for His glory. He has specifically created each and every one of us for a plan and a purpose! He speaks this to us.. not just a few of us- but ALL of us!
*~* Psalm 139:13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! You workmanship is marvelous- how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your toughts about me O God. They cannot be numbered!! *~*
You are made uniquely and specificaly the exact way He wanted you made- every "flaw" that we may see on ourselves are God's intricate details on a masterpiece. How creative He is to make every single person that has ever walked the earth completely different… no two are the exact same! WHAT?! Do you know how many people have walked the earth? yeah me either but im guessing ALOT! The words we declare over ourselves are a form of worship to Him! (Words spoke over me.. and i believe it!) We also have been given these bodies to take care of and to watch over.. He has entrusted us with His worksmanship… So be careful of the things you allow to enter His body! Because His spirit dwells there… whatever we intake, the spirit must have as well! (not just things like cigarettes or alcohal or drugs.. but also the things you watch and listen to, too many sweets or anything in exess that has a hold over you)
*~* Colossians 2:13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for He forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailin it to the cross. *~*
You are REDEEMED! You no longer have to live under shame of your past. When you are covered in God's blood, He washes you clean of any impurities! He promises that your sins and CANCELED and NAILED to the cross! Believe.. walk in the new creation He has made you to be. When Christ cried "It is finished" He was refering to the heaviness of all of our sins and shame falling onto him on the cross! He took it all so we wouldn't have to live with these things.. so believe and walk in His light! You are new! You are Holy!
*~* Galations 5:13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use youre freedom to serve one another in love. *~*
*~* Psalm 119:43 I will walk in freedom for I have devoted myself to your commandments.*~*
You walk in freedom because of the sacrifice that Jesus made at the cross. You are no longer bound by the old promise/testament.. but there is a new promise and covenant made with His blood. With this freedom causes a desire and a passion to follow His will for your life. To help others in need, to love the outcasted, to want to stay pure and holy for His use. These aren't restrictions- it's the opposite.. its freedom to be the best man/woman of God that He has created you to be.
These are just a few of the many promises and declaratons that God makes over us.. Just read and believe that these words were meant for you..
that YOU were made for HIM…
