In Two Weeks….

In two weeks……

In two weeks ill be landing in US soil
In two weeks I will be able to see my family
In two weeks I will be sleeing in a warm comfy bed
In two weeks I will have a big fluffy pillow
In two weeks I wll have a hot running shower and a big fluffy towel
In two weeks I can eat whatever I want
In two weeks I will have real coffee
In two weeks I will be able to drive to the store.. if i remember how
In two weeks I will be able to sit on a toilet again
In two weeks I will have my own room
In two weeks I will have my independence back

In two weeks…

In two weeks I will have to figure out how to behave in public again
In two weeks I will have to look at a closet full of clothes and feel overwhelmed
In two weeks I will have to learn how to eat with manners again
In two weeks I will look around and wonder where my friends are
In two weeks my 11 months of traveling to the most amazing countries in the world will be over
In two weeks I will pack my backpack for the last time this year
In two weeks I will have to face the questions of how my year went (how do you answer that?)
In two weeks I have to say good bye to 40 of my closest friends and family
In two weeks I will have to decide what i want to be when i grow up
In two weeks Ill have to figure out how to fit my new life into my old life
In two weeks I will no longer have my team to construct and uplift me
In two weeks I will have to face people who will never understand

In eleven months my life has been changed forever
In two weeks the new season of my life will begin

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run the endurance the race God has set before us.
