…….So i found myself in worship tonight looking around at all the young men and women around me worshiping with their eyes closed.. hands in the air, faces to the ground… with sincerity and innocence and i couldn't help but start smiling and feeling so blessed in that moment. to think wow i am surrounded by such wonderful men and women of God.. how did i get so lucky?! 🙂
Well we have one week left here at SHE Thailand.. i cannot believe it went by so FAST! What a wonderful ministry and gorgeous area! I could def live here in Phuket ha…
We have been working hard.. we switch off days to what we do, one day we will have prayer walking through the bar areas and then those evenings we have worship and then we head out to the streets to meet the men and women there and build relationships.. and hopefully bring them back to work at SHE. Or to at least come have lunch with us… The other days we work at the new SHE land building a bridge pulling weeds planting flowers and starting new brick steps.. on these days we also do children's ministry out in the streets. So needless to say we stay pretty busy.
When you walk by the bars with the women they all scream to you HELLO WELCOME.. and you can just hear them all the way down the street.. they are begging for customers and attention.. we are praying for bankruptcy over the whole area….
Made some really awesome relationships with a few women and i am hoping that they make the decision to do something more with their lives.. they are so beautiful and sweet that it breaks my heart to know what they are doing night after night.
It has been an awesome first month but also a trying first month…, we are in a joint 2 building ministry with prob close to 50 other young men and women! CRAZY ha… three YWAM groups, our world race teams and also the Real Life team! also another world race team coming the beginning of next week.. at one time i think they will have close to 70 people! So it has been a challenge to get alone time or team time, but on the other time so inspiring to see all the other young people giving up their worldy lives for the sake of the Kingdom!
