Not too long ago my nephews Jacob and Isaac were with my Grandpa and they saw a bull snake on the ground.  Now in western Nebraska it is not uncommon to see a bullsnake.  They left the bullsnake alone and it didn’t bother them.  They didn’t bother it and it didn’t bother them.  Now Isaac went home and said  “Mom” stretching his little arms out as far as they could go “We saw a snake this big and it was mean.”  Jacob went home and said “Mom” and he stretched his litte arms out as far as they could go “We saw a snake this big and it was friendly.”  Now Jacob and Isaac had the same experience.  They both saw the same thing, but they both had a different perspective on the experience that they shared.  I hope to remember that even though we may share experiences that things that have happened in our pasts or things that have molded our character will determine the perspective we may have on certain experiences.  Perspective is just how we see things.  It is not necessarily wrong or right it is just how we see things.
