There are often times when I feel like there is no hope left in the world. There is no hope that I can share with people. There is nothing that I can give them, because I am not worthy of giving them anything. Then I think about the people who really don’t have hope.

These are those people. In the heart of Cambodia I have found them. I have found the men, women and children who have no hope. For less than 2 dollars a day there whole family works at a brick kiln. Instead of going to school these children go to work. Instead of playing on the swings these children stomp in the mud to help make bricks. Instead of knowing they have food for the day they are praying that it doesnft rain so that they can work, because than they know they are going to have food. They not only work at the brick kiln they also live there.

And cook there. Where is there hope

My hope comes from The Lord.

If they will allow there hope will come from The Lord. This is what I and my team are here for. We are here to share our hope with them.

2 Chronicles 7:14 states

If my people who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Sometimes I forget about hope, and then I remember the Lords promise. There is always hope when you build your life on the Rock. The Lord is my rock, my salvation, and my hope. Even in the midst of oppression. Therefore I will call on Him.
