I am so thankful for all the new friends I’ve made this past month. I want to share some pictures of my new amigos in Chile.

Proverbs 27:17 says “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

Fernando has been a blessing to us this past month. He has been our translator and has helped us with so many things.

I love these little amigos!

We’ve had the pleasure of getting to know so many different people here in Chile. Some of them from the church here, some of them were just visiting Los Andes and some are family of our hosts. God has truly blessed us with many wonderful people in Chile.

The 2 people in the bottom 2 pictures are our hosts, Elvira and Juan. They have been such a blessing to me. They have served us and taken care of us so well. We have had so many laughs and such a great connection that I believe will last a lifetime. I love them both so much!

We had so much fun with these 4 amigos at Campo de Ahumada. We hiked a bit and then cooked and ate together. We sang and played Charades around the campfire. What a wonderful experience!

We met these wonderful friends at the event pictured on the bottom right. It’s the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and we got to sing a song in English at this event in downtown Los Andes. Then they invited us over for empanadas and fun. It was such a blessing to meet them all.

Professor Jorge (playing the guitar) has been such a blessing to us this past month. He is so kind and such a gentleman. He got us connected with the kids at the high school and English Institute. Don Lucio (cutting bread) has also been such a kind man to us and took us around to show us Chile and invited us to an Asado (BBQ) at this farm. We made so many new friends at the high school and English Institute.

This was the sweet note that Professor Jorge wrote to us on our last day at the high school and gave each of us a gift. The people here have been so kind and friendly. It’s been my pleasure to meet each of them.

We have made more friends but these are all the pictures I had. I’m so thankful to everyone here in Chile who has made our time here so enjoyable and pleasant. May God bless each one of you!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up…”
