Argentina is a great country! We had such a wonderful time there with our whole squad, getting to know the YWAM (Youth with a Mission) people and doing many different kinds of ministry. I am really going to miss all the people there. I wanted to talk about the many different kinds of ministry we did there. I love how it was so diverse.

We did some work at the YWAM base we were staying at, specifically yard work like raking up leaves and also clearing land so that they can build more cabins on the property. We also got to help them with the ropes course they do almost daily.

We visited a soup kitchen and got to feed a group of people and share a short encouraging message with them. We also went to a school way out in the country where we taught about recycling.

My favorite thing that we did was the door to door evangelism, praying for people in the neighborhoods that we walked to and also prayer walking around some neighborhoods and the main highway near the YWAM base.

We got to go to a preschool and teach the kids a little English and put on a skit for them about being kind. We also taught them about emotions.

One weekend we went away for the weekend to a camp and we put on a Youth Retreat. We were in the charge of the schedule and program. We planned games, testimonies and messages for the youth. We also had some time of reflection for them, time of prayer and had them summarize and write a song, poem or skit about Psalm 139. It was a very beautiful and special weekend. Many of the youth were touched and I pray they will continue to follow the Lord the rest of their lives.

I’m so thankful for all the people I met in Argentina and all the friendships I’ve made. I love you all!! I’m also very thankful for all the opportunities I had to share the love of Jesus with others. I pray that we were able to touch peoples lives and cause them to seek to know the Lord more intimately.

(I‘m sorry again. I tried to upload photos but the Wi-fi here is too slow. I will post pictures on my Facebook under the comments of this blog post.)
