This country is so beautiful! I just want to share with you what we’ve been doing.

Everyday we have breakfast around 7am, lunch around 1pm and dinner around 7pm. Our hosts provide the meals and I am very thankful for that. It’s such a blessing. For breakfast we eat some egg with bread and coffee. For lunch we usually have rice, beans, potato, meat and a veggie. For dinner we usually have pasta, potato, meat and a veggie.

Sunday’s we go to church and one of us preaches. The bottom left picture is of our hosts, Pastor James and Olivia.

Monday’s we are off and spend the day at a resort to get WiFi and to shower since we don’t have WiFi or running water where we live. There is a water shortage and have to carry in water to the house everyday. You can see where we shower below. It’s not my favorite, especially since there are always people staring at us. But we do what we have to do. (Thanks Taylor for letting me put this picture of you showering in my blog. 🙂

Tuesday’s we go to a school in the morning and do ministry with young kids from 3-5 years old. Then we have a church service in the evening where we sing some songs and one of us preaches.

Wednesday’s we do door to door evangelism in the morning and visit church family’s in the evening. Last Wednesday was a day of prayer and fasting for our team and the church.

Thursday’s we go to the school again in the morning and work with 3-5 year olds. In the afternoon, we go to a place with WiFi so that we can blog. (And shower) Here’s me in my favorite corner at the resort blogging.

Friday’s we do door to door evangelism in the morning and church service in the evening where we sing and one of us preaches. I’m preaching this Friday. It’s definitely not my favorite thing.

Saturday’s we have off and we go to the resort again for WiFi and shower (and swimming).

This is usually our schedule but it does change around a bit so this is just general.

Our hosts are such wonderful people and they take good care of us. We have great translators which is a huge blessing.

I want to share a beautiful story from last Friday when we went door to door. We met a lady (neighbor) and were able to talk with her and encourage her with scripture, testimony, a word from the Lord and prayer. It’s so beautiful to see each of us doing something different but when you put it all together it’s powerful. Then we went to a different house and met 4 ladies there. We shared a testimony with them and then Olivia (our host and translator) shared some encouraging words and others shared encouragement from the Lord and then we prayed over each of them. Then one of the ladies said that she wanted to be born again and accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. It was such a beautiful and emotional moment. My heart is so happy to be here in Rwanda and I thank God for all He’s doing through us. That moment was worth all the hard things I’ve gone through on the Race. (The lady on the right holding the baby is Janet and she is the one who accepted Jesus as her Savior.)

Thanks y’all for keeping up with me and continuing to pray for me. I love you all!
