Hello all and how are ya?
I’m coming to you from Krong Siem Reap, CAMBODIA. My last day here actually and we’re off to Bangkok, Thailand before we separate and go to our different ministry sites. I wanted to update you all on a few things:
First, I’m sorry for the delay. It’s so hard to put into words what I’m doing, how I’m feeling and all of the things so here’s my attempt to do so.
We’ve got new teams! I am now team leading Team A Lot. And have posted a picture of our team. Our name stands for A lotta love, alotta hope, alotta girls, alotta extraness, alotta sass, alotta Jesus! Just a lot (and we like to stay up in the alphabet truth be told) *Spoiler alert for future racers*
So yeah, Team A Lot was blessed to stay at a guesthouse here and partner alongside them in various ways.. we helped to establish a schedule for their staff for deep cleaning and show them what the standards look like. We also got to teach that same staff some English which was my most favorite part of the ministry. It was so awesome. Also, we tried to help establish relations with other ministries currently going on around the community that they maybe haven’t contacted yet or found and lastly, we had a lot of downtime to be able to go out and evangelize and connect with people within the community. We were in a highly populated area of tourists so we got to talk to people that spoke our language which was super great!
This was a month with time to rest which was so needed and so welcomed.. not at first but nearing the end I finally received the gift of rest and am very thankful. Now we can head into Thailand full throttle and see what all the Lord has for us there.
MY PLANE TICKET HOME HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN PURCHASED (Thanks Dad & Center Baptist Church) I will be home for Thanksgiving people. I may not be a bit a count but I’ll be there! Lol: so there’s that.
That’s all I have to say for now. I will be posting soon about what I’m going through/been through spiritually but I wanted you all to at least know that I’m still alive.
