This is a before and after picture of a man, Edward, that has a mighty faith and a mighty heart for The Lord. My teammate, Candyea, felt like we should stop and talk to him so we did. He let us know that he had an accident which lead to some complications in his knee. He believed that one day the Lord would have him get rid of his crutch and put it to the side. He firmly believed that the Lord was willing and able to heal him so we prayed. We prayed hard that God would come and touch this man of mighty faith and after finishing prayer we talk for a time and as we said our goodbyes he picked up his crutch, said “I don’t think I need this” and this was the after picture. Him walking down the road not using his crutch walking tall and in love with God and Gods love for him was so very evident.. it radiated from him. It grew a desire in me to grow in my faith, to grow in my trust, and to grow in Gods love. He encouraged us as we parted and to say this day was a great one would be an understatement.
I just wanted you all to see the work that the Lord is doing through me and a bunch of others because of you. Because of your trust in His calling, lives are being impacted and changed in a way only the Lord can do. Thank you for your obedience and for your giving heart. This couldn’t happen without you, and you had just as much a part of this as I did.
