Greetings Everyone, It has been a while since I have been online and posted a blog. I am currently in the Dominican Republic on a medical/construction team of 26 volunteers for a week. We arrived yesterday with no difficulties and rode a bus for 3 hours today from Santa Domingo to San Juan where we will be ministering to the people this week.
Today we traveled, unpacked, and went to an evening church service. We start tomorrow off with seeing patients and scheduling them for surgery this week. Please pray for the patients to come, for us to be able to help each of them, for each team member to stay healthy this week so we can be productive in our roles here, and for opportunities to share Christ with our patients and the neighboring people in the barrios.
Our nonsurgical team members will be going out to the schools and neighborhoods doing dental clinics and construction work. I will post another blog later in the week and let you know how things are progressing. Thank you for all your prayers.
