Greetings from Manzini, Swaziland. So if you have been following the prayer blogs along with some of the other world racers blogs, then you know we didn’t exactly follow our original plan. We arrived at the Atlanta airport with tickets in hand expecting to be able to fly to London on Tuesday. God had different plans in store for us and half of our team left at random-selected by British Airways on Wed. and the other 13 of us left on Thurs. We had pretty uneventful travels to Swaziland afterwards-praise the Lord. All of our luggage made it and no major set backs occurred. Once arriving in South Africa we took a 5 hour bus ride to Swaziland. We have been in 4 countries on 3 continents in only 4 days. Welcome to The World Race. This is basically a glimpse into what our lives are going to be like for the next year.
We have been blessed to have a wonderful house and are sharing it with the January team, which means a lot of people everywhere (about 80 of us sharing 5 bathrooms with 1 tub and 1 shower).
Here at the house the view is beautiful looking out over the mountains. The weather is cool in the mornings and evenings enough to warrant a fleece or sweater, but really nice in the day time.
It has been amazing to hear their stories and to be starting our own now. We have been anticipating this moment for so long and are very blessed to finally be here. We walk a short distance approximately 5 minutes to the local hotel to have our sessions in their meeting room.We start each session with prayer, praise and worship then hear a word from the Lord from one of our leaders. The rest of the time has been spent learning logistics, team building, and resting from all the travels.

Thank you so much for all your prayers-God has really heard them and they have been answered. I look forward to sharing with you what God is doing here and about our ministry once we get it going. He tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:9 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” I am excited to see what God has prepared for us during this journey.
