Thank you prayer warriors for lifting us up. We have definitely seen God at work especially over the last several weeks. Today we were awarded (temporarily) primary custodial responsibility of Samuel. We are thankful that the transition has been smooth thus far and pray it will continue to be so. Also another prayer concern for us is his mother will get visitation with him 3 weekends a month and our exchange times are Fridays and Sundays at 6:00pm. We are praying the times will be changed to 5:00pm to allow us to take Samuel to church on Sunday evenings. We are thankful Samuel will be able to be fully active in Awana’s now (a program on Wednesdays at church), and please pray that his mother will begin taking him to church so Samuel doesn’t have to miss worship 3 weeks a month.
We will have to go to court again sometime this summer to determine permanent custody. We ask for prayers that we will maintain primary custody at that time and the visitation schedule will be one that is positive for Samuel.
