Something More
This morning my heart leaps with joyful praise to our God in heaven. The big guy above has blessed me beyond my imagination. Its so awesome how God knows the desires of your heart. He knows what we truly want, even the things we dont ask for! The father is sooo full of gifts of grace. He is ready and willing to give you good things. In return he wants your obidience. He doesnt want you to be perfect. He doesnt demand you to have all the answers . All he wants you to do, is to say yes to his good and perfect will.
Submitting to God may feel like an impossible task but I tell you my friend, its possible and it feels sooo good. You may think that your living the life now, but the life that God has for you is so much better. I once lived a life of selfish ambition. All I wanted to do is get rich and live a life of comfort and indulgence. However, the father had something else planned. As plans failed and the chase after the dollar, left me exauseted and empty, I heard God whisper into my spirit. “THERE IS SOMETHING MORE”
I didnt know exactly what “SOMETHING MORE” was, but I knew that I wanted it!
Little did I know that his plan would have me travel the world, telling people about his everlasting love and mercy, his power and might, his patience and humility. God knew, that deep down in my heart, I wanted to travel the world. When I would open up magazines or see a movie that showed life in different parts of the world, my heart would thump. I would wish deep down inside that I could see the world for myself one day.
You see, God is a good Papa. He knows the things you desire. He knows what gets your heart going. He knows you better than you do. Why not give your life to him? Why not accept his Son, Jesus Christ, into your life. Without the Son you can not have access to the father. Jesus is ready and willing to show you the father. He is waiting for you to say YES to his will and his way. I invite you today. Give your life to him. Give your all to him. He is waiting to give you a life worth living.
Father I pray for whomever is reading these words. I pray that you will touch their hearts. I pray that this will begin or futher the process of them accepting you. You are so good. The world takes away but you are constantly giving. Thank You Father. I love You. AMEN
