The Worldrace was a life changing experience! On the field my heart broke so badly for the people. My heart broke for the poverty, the brokenness, the injustice, and the Godlessness that I experienced. The stretching journey of 11-months opened my eyes to the need of the gospel. Truly there is no other way to the father but by his son Jesus. Also the journey opened my eyes to the physical needs that people go without day after day.
In Cambodia, most of the population live in the conditions I spoke of before. In the cities, children as young as 3 years old are forced to dig through trash to find plastic to resell for change. In the hospitals many are overlooked and mistreated because of the lack of resources. In the villages young girls and boys are sold into sexual slavery by their own parents. In a country boasting a population of more than 14.1 million people, less than 2% are Christian.
My burden is to see the lost walk into the inheritance of sonship/daughtership that the salvation of Jesus Christ provides, while also meeting their physical needs. My vision is to do this by evangelism and discipleship through kingdom business that assists with the needs most immediate to the people group, e.g.,(employment, medical assistance, housing assistance, food, clothing, education).
While I have a burden and a passion to do these things, I need mentors, community, and a strategy to bring it into fruition. In Mijas, Spain there is a ministry academy that focuses exactly on that:

Each of us has a calling and a purpose in Christ Jesus but none of us can get there on our own.

Pray that my identity and calling in Christ will solidify during my time at G42.

Pray that the Lord will bless me with vision and courage to believe that this is possible.

Pray that I will draw near, hear his voice, and trust his sovereignty.

Pray that resources will flow supernaturally to provide for G42.
