Heyo! I’m in Argentina yo! What a time to be alive.  I love Argentina. We are working with a YWAM base here in Mendoza Argentina.  Each day is a new adventure, every hour looks a little different, and each minute is a new experience.

The base is a bee hive of constant activity and people going in about 793 different directions…constantly.  It. Is. WILD. And I absolutely love it.  Never a dull moment and we are kept on our toes to be the absolute best that we can be.

A huge part of the YWAM base is ropes ministry.  We have a bunch of different ropes games set up all over the base and different groups from churches, schools, or the community in general come each day to do things like high ropes, the swing, and the zipline.  They leave having done all those things but also learning how to communicate as a team, general life lessons, and cool things about God and what it looks like to have a trusting relationship with Him.

During one of those group ropes sessions I met the Argentinian version of myself.  She is a 14 year old girl that has been around the block a time or two.  She is full of sass, full of life, ready to take on the world, fully prepared to fight anybody that questions her or messes with her, and desperate for love and affection (in her 14 year old mind that looks like getting attention in anyway she possibly can).  I can’t speak much Spanish and she can’t speak much English but we tried.  We laughed, we messed around with each other, and I tried to show her the love of our Father as much as I possibly could. She gave me sass every second, and I returned it.  I put my hands on my hips, got my best sassy face, and told her in English “chill out little nugget. I’m in charge. Thanks”…she didn’t pick up on that part lol. But I hope she felt seen and needed even though she couldn’t understand everything I said (and vice versa). As she walked away she gave me a huge hug and all I could do was pray that God would put wonderful people in her life that love Him the way Godly people were put in my life.

My new team is thriving in Argentina and we are preparing to take India by storm.
