Hey friends and family.

I am now using this blog again!

For awhile I was using my CGA blog… but I have switched back over to this one since I am going back onto the field! It’s kinda cool because all my old World Race blogs are still here! What a fun journey to look back on 🙂

Those of you that follow my Newsletter Emails or follow my social media, you will know all I am about to write in this blog!

(My following blogs will be about stories from the field, what the Lord is doing, and it will be a great space for me to share about this journey! My Newsletters will be geared towards practical updates and info! If you are just subscribed to my blog and not my newsletter, let me know and I will get you in that email chain!)

If you already read my recent Newsletter or social media posts, feel free to skip to the bottom of this blog!

This is what previously wrote:

“On Monday i will head out and lead a Semesters trip to the Philippines for 3 months that we will be gone January 29th – April 30th.

Trust me, I’m just as surprised as you are.

This opportunity was presented to me very recently and I have been praying about it diligently since the offer. My heart went back and forth on whether it was the correct “next step” for me or not… but the Lord has made it so clear to me that it is.

Over the past few years I have gone around the world for 9 months doing missions work, done a few shorter term trips, attended a Leadership and discipleship program, and now I want to put what I’ve learned in practice and pour out into a new group with fresh eyes for missions.

During this trip I will be co-leading a group of girls all aged 18-22. Our ministry will be working in a birthing clinic, working closely with women rescued from sex trafficking, helping out with feeding programs, construction, disaster relief, street kids ministry, evangelism, and more! I will no longer be a participant, I will be in a completely new role and the Lord will use me in a completely new way.

My heart for wanting to do this is to pour out into the participants, and gain leadership experience along the way. I am excited for the ministry we are partnering with and how it directly correlates with what I want to pursue in the future. But I’m even more excited to get to give away the skills and heart I have been building up inside of me for so long into my team.

This is new. This is exciting. I am truly living in a “Yes Lord” mentality right now as I trust he will provide the way and abilities!

After CGA I knew the Lord was bringing me into a season of pouring out, but I just didn’t think it would be this soon! I am extremely excited but also extremely overwhelmed with how fast everything is going. One thing the Lord has taught me through it all is that his plans are best always and his paths are greater than any I could ever come up with on my own. Little did I know the desire I was pressing into during CGA to disciple newer missionaries and jump deeper into women’s ministry would bring me to an opportunity to do both at the exact same time.

If you feel led to donate, I will be raising $2000 for the trip and my travel insurance! If you feel led to donate, you can hit the donate button on the top of this blog!! If you cannot financially support, please be praying for my heart in this transition and for humility, clarity, grace, truth, perspective, and love as I lead these girls!

Thank you so much for your constant support! My time home has been shorter than anticipated, but it’s been sweet and it’s been life breathing and refilling. I look forward to getting to update you all on how the Lord works in this new journey! “

I am so excited for this journey. I arrived in Georgia on Sunday to prepare for these girls and train to lead them well. I have been diving deep into planning all their logistics and finances and praying over them a ton.

This is going to be a season of growth and a season of challenge… but a season of immense love and grace too. Be praying for our team and that the Lord will completely guide our paths.

I look forward to inviting you all into this journey again and bringing you along with us this semester! I love y’all and I appreciate your constant support so much.

IM GOING TO THE PHILIPPINES TO LOVE ON PEOPLE WITH CHRIST AND LEAD PEOPLE INTO SUCH A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY!!  Ah the Lord is good and always knows where I need to be even when I don’t!
