Connie’s foster home

This was the second ministry I bounced between!

Much like Agape, this was a refuge for kids who don’t have a home.

This ministry was run by a beautifully compassionate couple from the states that moved to Thailand to rescue children who don’t have a home and be a loving place for them before they are adopted by their forever families.

Around the house you often find them calling the couple “mommy and daddy” and you see the couple loving them back in return with the most love and the most care.

The nannies at the home that work there are also apart of the ministry. Connie, the wife, likes to pour into the nannies too and help them find better futures through opportunity and proper education on how to be a mother and how to care for children. Such a beautiful ministry opportunity to witness and be apart of.

Connie pours out so much into those kiddos and into those nannies and it is clear the Lord has anointed her for this ministry.

The team at this ministry helped the nannies take care of the kiddos, they taught the home school lessons, they provided the nannies relief, and they got to pour into and build relationships with the nannies.

They worked hard to not just show up and simply do the tasks laid before them, they loved with all of their might and souls. Fighting to do every task with full effort. They built relationship with the kids and couple. They went the extra mile even when not asked. They walked with grace and pursued honor. They walked with endless patience and saw those kiddos the way Jesus would see them. They bonded together as a team and pursued unity even as they were usually split into different rooms. They left leaving a heavenly impact. So proud of them and so proud of their willing hearts even when days got long!

Much like what I explained in my Agape blog, the Lord did a huge work in my heart as I saw these kiddos without families and could feel my heart breaking for them. It is so sweet to know that the Lord calls us his children and we are in his forever forever forever family! These kids are loved well beyond what they know! (Go to my Agape blog to read more about this!!)

It is super sweet to see how the Lord intricately placed me in two ministries working with kiddos in these situations. I have a huge heart for kids and for giving the orphaned a home and being a place others find to be a safe place. Seeing how much intentional placement the Lord had in putting me in those ministries is a blessing I can’t even fathom. He gave me such a joy getting to hold those children, pray over them, love on them, care for them, and declare the Lords blessings into their life.

I feel blessed I got to be one of the people that got to love them in their lifetimes and I pray MANY come after me in their lives to love them so much more than I could in my short time with them.

Being a Squad Leader so far has been such a blessing. Watching the team here (Selah) pour out and to get to pour out alongside them was such a sweet sweet little season.

I pray blessings over Connie and her husband. I pray blessings over the kiddos. I pray many adoptions coming soon. I pray for lives that strive to honor the Lord and lives that are covered by his goodness and grace. I pray for joy in their days. I pray for protection and health. I pray Gods endless love to guide them and cover them so full.

AMEN!!
