Confidence:
“a feeling of self-assurance arising from one’s appreciation of one’s own abilities or qualities.”

C O N F I D E N C E
Confidence is something that I have struggled with a lot while being on the race. Confidence in who I am. Confidence in where God has put me. Confidence in where I am going. Confidence in the relationships I have made with people. Confidence in the decisions I make. Confidence in the Lords almighty plans.
Confidence is something that the Lord needs us to step into in order to fully and completely live a life honoring and content.
When we have to make a decision, having confidence that doing what you know is best might hurt peoples feelings… and that’s okay. Having confidence when you fear if those relationships won’t be there after you have made your decision and knowing that those relationships aren’t going to just fall away. Having confidence so much in who you are that when you start to fear about what people think of you, those fears just drift away. Having confidence after you have made a decision to know and fully submit to God and trust that you are where you are for a reason. Having confidence that the future does have a plan and God is going to provide a beautiful way. Having confidence in your relationships with others and knowing that a silly mistake or something can’t ruin what you have built with these people. Having confidence that you are an amazing person and Jesus has everything under control.
Having confidence is hard but having confidence is something that is needed in our relationship with Christ.
Having confidence is essential when we are trying to live happily and joyfully without fear or worry.
Having confidence is important when we are trying to do the right thing.
HAVE CONFIDENCE.
I was reading in a devotional the other day and I read this and I feel it really applies to what I am writing about with Confidence:
“The secret of the Christian life is that we commit ourselves fully to God. If we surrender our wills to God, what happens doesn’t make us angry. If God doesn’t give us what we want and ask for, our faith is strong enough to say, ‘Not my will, but Yours.’
Pray: God, help me. I often have strong desires, and when I don’t get what I want, I get upset. Forgive me. Remind me that Jesus didn’t want to die on the cross, but He lived in total submission to Your will. I ask You, through Jesus Christ, to help me live in total submission and be content with what You give me. Amen.”
“Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way.”
??Proverbs? ?3:5-6? ?ERV??
And that my friends family and supporters is the truth.
For anyone personally involved deeply with my life right now would know I have struggled with this recently… and I have seen Jesus rise me up out of it. It’s hard. It’s not easy. But have confidence.
