Jamaician Me Grateful 3.17.18

God even shows up and shows His love in the little things too.

We are in Jamaica and this is our second night here.

This month we get to cook our own food and it is such a blessing.

The challenge is that the cost of things here are only a few dollars less than they would be at home in the states, which means that our budget is really tight.

We are blessed with wise and thoughtful treasures and leaders that God has qualified and He continues to prove this and did so especially today.

On a tight budget feeding 11 people for a week on $4 a day/person with prices close to that at home, is a difficult task.

This month we will be given the opportunity to not only cook for ourselves but to trust God with provision.

Tonight for dinner we had spaghetti, sauce, sautéed garlic/onions/green bell pepper and the Lord undoubtedly fed us more than we cooked. We all had seconds AND we even had leftovers. Even in the smallest of ways He shows up! He’s so good to us!

It has been my favorite meal on the World Race so far and one I’ll remember because He truly does give us what we need when we trust Him and follow Him.

I’m so excited for this month and what is in store. I’m already in love with Jamaica and can’t wait for God to use us here in the community.
