The day has finally arrived, day one of WorldRace. After all the preparation, packing, and my goodbyes to my awesome family and friends I have had a lot of mix of emotions. Not sure how I’m feeling at the moment but when I saw my squad my heart was overwhelmed. It crazy how many connections were made in a short time. Getting back with all my squad mates, I got to hear so many amazing stories about how God has been working in their life since training camp. I wanted to share so of their stories.

Given $3000 before coming to launch and am now fully funded—LAURA
Gear from tuner knob on D string on guitar was broken, but the owner at the music store gave
a new knob for free, so I could bring the guitar on the trip—LAURA
I can feel him with people giving. The people that I think have the least give the most. God is so
excited to have us this year. Like I can feel his spirit and it’s exciting!—HUDSON
March was a deep spiritual warfare battleground with fundraising and less than $200 came in.
Jesus and I had a moment together, and the first weekend in April about $4000 came in—SHANNON
God moment. Wanted to reach $13,000 before launch…needed $600. The same day I posted
the need, $1200 came in that day..—MACKY

90ish% of my gear was bought or given to me from God through friends and family—SHANNON
I saw the Lord move in my fundraising through connecting me with people from as far back as
my elementary childhood with people supporting me reminding me how I have always wanted
to pursue missions—JEN
I saw God move in fundraising by all the many many people who stepped in to support me!
Even the people I don’t know! There is one time I was getting random donations from people I
didn’t know, and soon I found out that there was another person with my same name
fundraising too. And I was getting her donation. Once everything was fixed and the donations
went back to her I even had one of her supporters reach out and donate to me anyway! So

God is still moving in preparation for this trip. My eyes are widening to what He’s doing. He’s
allowed for closer conversation with my brother that I didn’t have before. I saw widows give
their last dime to this trip and am expectant for fundraising to continue fruitfully.—KATRINA

Receiving donations from people I didn’t expect that I only had one conversation with but they
donated even more than I expected. My parents have seen how the Lord has provided and it
has grown their own faith and knowledge of Him—JEN
I didn’t realize how much God was going to reveal with fundraisingy. How to not compare with
other teammates and just resting in the fact that He called me to this and He will provide
everything—MICHEALA
For me God has provided exactly what I needed, no more no less. He is teaching me to grow in my faith and so much more. It is one thing to say you have faith but to use it is completely different. I made my 2nd goal right in time plus an extra $35. I have 2 months to make it to the 3rd goal. I want to thank everyone that has helped me in any way. So excited to see what is in store the next 11 months!
