Leaving the United States there was a lot of mixed emotions, but one I kept dwelling on was my freedom being left behind. It’s something that is often taken for granted. While crossing the border, God told me that freedom in him never ends at the border. Having freedom in him is constant protection, peace, and hope. He did the big sacrifice for us. If he never made that sacrifice, missions would have no purpose. Its hard in the moment to see God’s plan but his plan was already made before I was even born.
After traveling 50 hours we finally reached our destinations. Sleep was great but my body is still adjusting. Today we had our orientation at our first ministry, we will be teaching English and helping at a coffee shop. Tomorrow night will be hosting the first English class. The family is great and loving. Showing us so much support and taking good care of us. Here is a picture of the coffee shop. Thanks for all support and prayers during our traveling.
