What if you were in one quick month given a piece to your life’s long puzzle?
What if Jesus sat down right beside you, with his arm around you (comforting you naturally) as a perfect stranger affirmed things about you, that your loved ones have been telling you for years? You know those things that you found every excuse to not believe, brush off, and ignore. Yet with one quick quiet whisper you hear Jesus ask you
‘Daughter of mine, do you get it now, now do you believe me?’
Do you get that your worth it?
Do you get YOU are enough?
Do you understand the depths of my love for you?
Do you know the person that I created you to be, the gifts I gave you and the calling I placed on YOUR life was all planned and destined for YOU before your very birth?
Do you know that phrase your Mom used all your life growing up, that your a gift from God… the one that you joke about, well ‘here’s the thing daughter – you are my gift….’
So what do you do with that? With ALL of that??
Well, I’ll tell you what – you sit in awe. In awe of his presence right in that very moment. You stay still, breath it in, soak up that love that only Jesus can give and savor the moment.
Once your able to blink again, you absorb more of the truth, you absorb it, believe it and choose to buy into it. All of it. Each and every precious previously spoken world of God. Let those words of past and present flood your mind, muffling out anything the enemy is trying to sneak in there and steal. Every perfect word. Every perfect word God spoke to you through your Mom, your best friends, your family (every party of your family), your people, (‘MY PEOPLE’). You allow yourself to feel His very arms wrap you up tight, reminding you that His love for you is endless, it’s there in your darkest days. It’s there in the brightest, it’s there when you can physically feel it, and its there when your lacking any sort of love for yourself.

This however doesn’t come without a price, for when a warrior is raised up into her true and I mean TRUE identity in Christ you know it’s not going down without a fight from Satan himself. So you have to prepare, you have to figure out how this new found head/heart connection is going to work and continue to work. How it’s going to work for the glory of the kingdom. You figure out what weapons you need to fight this battle. Prayer, the Word and faith… a whole lot of faith. You cling to His words, you pray for reassurance and hold tight to that faith.
Psalm 23:5-6
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
South Africa, Life Church, you have shown me so much of God’s love. You have spoken so much life into me. You will forever have a special piece of this small town’s girls heart. I will forever remember all the lesson’s God allowed me to learn here. I will forever be grateful for the continuing growth of my spiritual family.
