This week has been full. The days have been long but the week went by quick.
Monday – Wednesday we shared on The Great Commission –
team Golden Aperture (combo of our two teams) brought the word to eagerly waiting ears.
Worship was rich, and prayer was powerful.
Gods presence was there.

This consumed our mornings.
Our nights were not any less full.

We played sharks and minnos in the rain with a bunch of giggly children.

Ventured off to town with Summer, met a stranger on the street who quickly became a friend. Rode in a micro van with 35+ Nepalese people, who I am pretty sure found the two white girls squeezed in the middle quite amusing. Laughed until my stomach hurt, and acquired a few more bruises from the bumpy roads.

I held the hand of two giddy little girls as we walked into town for some treats, who through unique sign language was able to tell me that the pig in the shed nearby was about to be slaughtered (not your everyday PA sighting)

Bought my sweet friends ice cream and shared a few more laughs with them as we dodged every possible mud puddle on the way back to church.

I looked into the eyes of a woman and saw her sweet, tender loving soul. Her presence is full of peace, and calmness. She held my hand while we prayed, and I couldn’t help but feel comfort. She radiates Gods love, and although we cannot speak the same language our hearts share the same purpose to love as God loves.

Team Aperture is growing daily spiritually and becoming more comfortable living day to day life together.
Our hearts are being revealed to one another, the walls are coming down our family is growing and learning with more ease. The laughter, fun and quirkiness is coming out.

Namste is a regular part of our vocabulary. Saying it to anyone and everyone with a smile.
Children become giddy over this small ‘hello’ and the elderly illuminate tender sincerity.

Walked in the pouring rain to house ministry, through laughter, slips and near falls we made it.
Soaking wet, as our rain jackets gave us no help to the torrential down pour of Nepales rains.
Our spirits were high, as we entered a room filled with 15+ people already worshipping our God.
There energy is like no other. The passion to praise God is unreal, hands clapping, eyes closed, voices raised high.
Testimony was shared and for the second time on the World Race (actually ever) I gave a message.
I am amazed and the calmness and clarity that God gives me while doing this.
For it is not on my own that I am able to do speak to them, but through God.

These are just a few snap shots of the many moments throughout this week.
My feet have seen more hill sides, mud and leaches then ever before.
There are days that the prayer for strength is more frequent then others.
But…
I wouldn’t change a thing.
