When taking a shower (shower is a relative term i.e. bucket bath) every 5 days is a luxury

A way of entertainment is betting on when the ride will arrive

You can identify what cars are driving by the sound of their tires

When you are excited that you don’t have to fill a bucket to flush the toilet

When you know what “one cheek up” means

When you are down to a group of six and you feel like you have alone time

You can’t tell the difference between sandal tan or dirty feet

You’d rather live in a tent than share a house with 80 people

When you use dental floss & a eye mask to wrap presents

Your travel plans include hitchhiking a ride to the border

These are the things we have learned in the last 2 months of the race.
