Those were the first words out of my mouth as I crawled into my tent our first night. In a strange way my tent is like going home! Where you may ask am I crawling into my tent?
Botswana of course!
We arrived here in Muan, Botswana on Wednesday early evening. It was a long day of traveling. We drove Tuesday to Gabarone which was about a 5 hour drive and then got up early on Wednesday and caught the 6am bus from Gabarone to Muan. It was a tight 11 hour drive and nothing like an American Greyhoud busride. The bus was full to capacity but there were about 25 people standing in the aisle for the 11 hour ride. Welcome to Africa!
As you read before we are tenting again and cooking over the fire. So the daily life hasn’t changed much just the environment. Botswana is very much a desert hot days and cold nights and instead of dirt we have sand! We are working with Love Botswana and living on the property of the ministry. We have a neat opportunity here to participate in a variety of ministries from prison ministry, to youth ministry, manual labor, etc… We are excited to see what how the Lord will use us in this place. Please continue to pray for us. That the Lord will work and move and use us to see His glory made known to this nation of Botswana.
