Our time has drawn to a close for ministry in Swaziland.
We are spending a few days in Manzini ( a large city where we can use internet and get laundry done) and then we are heading to South Africa for debrief.
It is still unknown what we will be doing for the next month – our options are Botswana or Mozambique.
Please pray for us that the Lord will use us wherever we go.
I can’t believe I have been in this beautiful country for almost 2 months now. We have spent a solid 6 weeks living in the bush and tenting. God has been so good to our team here. We have seen him provide in ways we could never have asked for. Every night we are privilege to watch the sunset over the African plain and every night as we sit by the fire the stars fill the black void and give us priceless pieces of art.
We have had more than we need and lived simply and slower than we ever have before.

The ministry has been rewarding, challenging, wonderful and sad.
We have worked and loved on children who are dying of HIV. We have had the privilege to love children who do not receive love or affection at home. God has used us to touch the lives of those around us and given us the opportunity to share the gospel with these children.

It has been difficult.
Being so far away from the rest of the world is hard.
Living in a tent, sharing one toilet with a lot of people (which at times ranges from 11 people to 21 people), and showering in a dirty hole isn’t the most ideal. However, through these things the Lord has taken away the comforts of home and showed us dependence on Him and Him alone.
Our team has been able to bond and grow closer day by day.
We have been blessed by amazing contacts who have taken care of our needs abundantly.
They have provided our home for free and free transportation ranging from the back of a truck to a combi (taxi van or bus).
As most of you know we live on a ranch/game reserve.
So daily we are surrounded by bulls and more recently quite often by Zebras.
Sunday afternoon the giraffes finally passed by in the field that backs up to the property.
Yes, we live in Africa with Zebras and giraffes.
It is amazing!
One of our last days in the bush and God continues to amaze us with His provision.

The children have captured my heart here in
Swaziland and I pray that God will use them to share Christ within
Swaziland.
My prayer is that God will bring a deep abiding faith to the people here.
I pray that their faith will extend into every aspect of their lives.
That God will protect the men, women and children from the ravages of AIDS and HIV.
Please pray for these people that God will lead them to repentance and deep abiding faith in Christ alone.
Pray that God will deepen their faith and they will put aside all idols and turn to Christ alone.
Pray that missionaries will be sent and be bold in sharing the truth with the Swazis.
Thank you so much for your prayers, encouragment and support. I pray that you will continue to be blessed by what God does throughout the coming months.
