Hello friends and supporters. I wanted to give you a little update from me and life in Asia. We just got back to Bangkok from Cambodia. We spent a few days in Siem Reap which is where the famous Angkor Wat Temple is located. We were able to take a tour the ancient ruins and I will be posting a blog on it soon with pics!
As most of you know our time is ending here in Thailand/Cambodia. I am really sad to leave this part of the world because it has become a huge part of my life. I LOVE Asia! I never thought that I would love it like I have these past almost 3 months. I was riding on a moto the other day through the back roads of Phnomh Penh and I realized that this gets in your blood. These people and the culture it becomes part of you. I know the Lord has worked and used us here and we pray that God will continue to work the seeds that we planted here.

Today, Friday November 9th we are in Bangkok and tomorrow Saturday, Novermber 10th we are flying to Hong Kong. There we will be meeting up with the January team and saying goodbye to them. And then on November 18th or 19th we will be heading into a “closed Asian country”. We will have no internet, phone, blogs, emails etc… for a month! So it will be difficult not staying in contact but we know the Lord is in control and we desire to keep our contacts safe and protected.
On or around December 20th we will be leaving the “closed Asian country” and heading to the Phillipines where we will be spending Christmas and New Years together. Then we will be spending the month of January on the Phillipines and then heading to Central America. Wow how the time is flying by!
Please keep our team Lego and our squad in your prayers. We need the Lord’s protection and strength during this time. Protection for ourselves as believers and strength as we are away from home and without contact with our families over the holidays. Please pray that the Lord will open up doors to share the gospel and for seeds to be planted and a crop to be harvested in this “closed Asian country”. I will be posting a few blogs while in Bangkok and in Hong Kong to close out our time in Cambodia. So this isn’t the last blog that you receive from me but as of November 19thish I will be in the dark.
Blessings on you and your families. Thank you for your prayers and support I could not do this without you!
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned; that I may make it clear in the way I ought to speak. Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
