The plan did not go as planned. As I write this it is 8:11pm on Tuesday night and you may assume that I am flying over the Atlantic…well not yet. I am still sitting in the Atlanta airport. Why you may ask? They wouldn’t let us on the plane to leave the country! We tried checking in but since we do not have our ticket to leave Africa and go to Thailand yet they couldn’t guarantee our departure. So we are going to AIM’s property and camp out for the evening. Lord willing (9 of us including me) will be flying out from Atlanta to Johannesburg via London. It has been a great time of bonding for the team and having to trust the Lord is circumstances that don’t quite make sense. Our key word is flexibility and we are having to actually live that out. I am so thankful to the Lord that for whatever reason He has allowed us to wait and wait on Him to provide and He has. The rest of the team on Thursday PM – we are not guaranteed to be able to leave on Wednesday night so I will keep you in the loop as to what happens . Please pray for us that we will continue to rest in our Great & Sovereign God and the plans He has for us not our own plans.
