A sweet friend came up to me the other day and said: ”You embrace your redemption story.”
That statement was just the inspiration I needed to put this blog together.
Chad Veach said a few Sundays ago “Your story is a weapon.” And that statement is so true!! Your story is not testifying how great you are but how great HE is. It’s a story that usually involves “But Jesus” because Jesus came and delivered me; he saved me from a life of feeling worthless and empty and gave me a life filled with purpose and value. I used to be blind but now I see, I was lost but now I’m found.
Start telling your story and watch the Lord soften hearts, watch the wisdom of the world be confounded, watch people’s eyes open to the goodness and grace of God.
Don’t be ashamed of your past; make much of what he saved you out of. If he could do it for me, he could do it for you.
God is good, he comes close to broken hearts, he pursues those who are oppressed, he doesn’t leave of abandon the depressed he comes closer. Your story if a GOD story, a grace story, it’s worth sharing.
